Why We Love It
1. Warmth. This one is a little sentimental for me because this is the home that my husband was raised in. I can personally vouch for the amazing meals that this kitchen is capable of and the joy and warmth that has filled this home since 1986! This home is ready for its next owners to carry the torch to keep this little area of the world bright!
2. Acre. Just enough land for you feel like you can breath, but not so much that it takes all weekend to maintain. It is perfectly situated with enough front yard that the house doesn’t sit too close to the road but with enough backyard to give you scenic views. Just so you know, you may have visitors from time to time... Bambi and his siblings have been known to romp through the yard and you will have the perfect seat to watch them prance.

As you pull up to the house, you will notice the well manicured yard, the beautiful brick home with pillar accents and the concrete driveway that leads to the over-sized two car garage. It should be noted that the house was designed to have a canopy between the garage and the house, so it wouldn't be hard to add it in the future. They originally designed it this way, so the noise from working on cars in the garage didn’t bother anyone in the house [happy wife, happy life].
Entry Level: When you walk around the sidewalk to the front door, take a peek at the nicely landscaped beds and the cozy front porch.
When you step inside, you are greeted with a dramatic entryway that has high ceilings, a beautiful chandelier and rustic floors. Also notice that all the doorways in the home are wider to make it handicap accessible.
To your left is a formal living room, with nice high ceilings, that flows to the large dining room. I have had many amazing meals in this dining room... but I think prime rib on Christmas Day was my favorite.

The wood burning fireplace in the family room is very cozy and this is where you can nap after your belly is full! This is also where you can watch the deer outback, from the sliding glass door.
Down a hallway is where you'll find three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms... including your en suite.
Basement: If you look very closely on the floor, you can see the markings from the man made basketball court in the basement... this is where my husband tells me he used to "fake the funk on a nasty dunk" when he was little [whatever that means]. As you can see, this space is large enough that you can play full court or you could even roller skate! They found this space was more usable unfinished. If you did decide to finish it, there is high ceilings and you could double the square footage of the home!
Exterior: Out back there is a concrete patio that overlooks your gorgeous acre. I think the yard is begging for a fire pit or maybe a pool! The detached garage will come in handy for Mr. or Mrs. Fix-it!
