Why We Love It

1. Backyard. This area is to die for; it features a large multi-level deck/patio area with a pergola and room to create multiple conservation areas. The lower patio area was installed in 2015. This is where you find your grilling area, a fire pit with seating, and room large patio set.  The fenced-in yard still has PLENTY of room to play any of your favorite sports. One really nice feature I feel the backyard has is it seems you are in the country, not a neighborhood.

2.  Owner's Suite. Cathedral ceilings and tons of space... you'll love your new owner's suite and long for days of being sent to your room. You even have two separate walk-in closets and one has a designer closet system.  The en suite is also large with dual vanity, soaking tub, and  separate shower.

3.  Kitchen and Family Room. The nerve center of the home is the large eat-in kitchen and and family room area. This space is completely open with plenty of room for gatherings and celebrating those special occasions. The kitchen has Corian counter tops, oak cabinets, an island, and it even has a pantry.  The current owners added the bar area with additional cabinets for storage.  The kitchen is open to a large family room which features a fireplace and lots of windows for natural light.

What You Need To Know

This home is in the desired Hoover Park subdivision and is very close to the neighborhood  pond and park. This home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a extra large fenced lot.  The home has great curb appeal and feels welcoming.  The home has been well maintained, with over $40,000 in updates completed to the home. All new carpet 2nd floor and basement in 2016, new patio in 2015, updated kitchen area, newer appliances, newer roof, and heating and cooling systems to name a few...

As you enter the home, you step into a large entry that has XL staircase landing while your eyes catch the wood flooring that run throughout the entry level. There is a separate living room for those quiet times needed or alone time to read that really good book.

As you walk down the hallway there is a ½ bath, a first floor laundry area that also has the entry into the 2+ car garage, than entry to the basement (more on that later).  The hallway opens up to what I call the nerve center on the entry level; a really large eat-in kitchen, bar/desk, island, and family room area.. This area is completely open with plenty of space for gatherings or celebrating those special occasions.

The kitchen has been updated with corian countertops on oak cabinets, there’s a island for additional food preparation space, it even has a good size food pantry.  The current owners added the large eating bar area with additional cabinets for storage.  I could see this area being used a desk/computer or study area. The back side of the kitchen has the entry to the formal dining room, it features a tray ceiling, chair rail, the room has plenty of space for the dining set with china cabinet.

Off the other side of the eat-in kitchen is a large family room which features a fireplace with plenty of room for get togethers or cozying up in front of the fireplace, or watching TV.   I love the openness of this area and call it the nerve center of the home.

Through the family room you have access to the back yard - one to die for. You enter the upper level of the multi-level decks. This deck currently has a hot tub that has a pergola area over it and plenty of remaining room to create multiple conservation areas.  Then down to the lower patio that was installed in 2015. This area has a spot for grilling, and also has room for fire pit area and large patio set.  The fenced yard still has plenty of room to play any of your favorite sports.  One really nice feature I feel this area has is it seems you are in the country, not a neighborhood - there are no direct line-of-sight to homes directly behind you.  It is also quite, I could totally see relaxing in a hammock tucked into a shady area.

The second floor has 4 bedrooms and two baths, all the carpet was replaced in 2016. The master bedroom suite is not only very large but this room features a cathedral ceiling to make it tall and big!  It does not stop here, there are two separate large walk in closets, one has a designer closet system.  The ensuite is also big with dual sinks, toilet, tub and  separate shower.

The other three bedrooms are good size with plenty

Part of the basement has been finished to provide extra space or room for parties. The carpet was just replaced in 2016.  There is a full bath that is large enough that the current owners put the exercise bike in there. There is an OSU bar area that is connected to a recreation room to sit back and relax to watch movies or sports. The remaining areas of the basement has plenty of room for the always needed extra storage.

Upgrades totaling about $40,000 include:
New carpet 2nd story and basement, New Patio, Updated Kitchen with new bar area countertops, Newer Kitchen appliances, Newer roof, New heating and cooling, Updated wood flooring,Partially finished basement with full bath, Battery backup sump pump
