Why We Love It
1. New-ish. Being just 6 years old, you get the benefits of a new build home without the new build price or timeline. They are actually still building in Big Run Ridge, and the price tags on those are much higher than this beautiful home! You still have tons of life left on all the major mechanicals, which should allow you to just spend money on the fun stuff... decorations and furnishings. C'mon... which sounds like more fun, shopping for a furnace or shopping for a new LED TV?
2. Outdoor Living. With the right furniture, a grill, and maybe some lighting, more and more people are extending their living areas outside! Outdoor living should feel comfortable and cozy and with your paver patio/fire pit out back, you have a very stylish foundation! The front porch is covered, so you can always move the party out front, if it rains!
3. Style. This house definitely has the style and openness demanded from today's buyers! From the exterior to the interior, the foundations have all been laid! A covered front porch, paver patio and fire pit out back, Strand Bamboo flooring, sleek gray ceramic tile in the bathrooms, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, white trim throughout... I could go on and on!
What You Need To Know
Among newer homes in the neighborhood, this is my favorite street in all of Big Run Ridge. Freshly manicured landscaping is really easy on the eyes and more importantly, easy to maintain! I love the covered front porch because it is big enough for a couple chairs and a table. The brick facade is the icing on the cake with regards to the curb appeal adding a stylish and rich element!
The builder of this home made very good use of the space; all of the important areas of the home are generous and open. One thing that I love is there is no wasted space to heat or cool, which is great on your utility bills!
As you enter the home, you are going to absolutely love the dark stranded bamboo flooring throughout most of the first floor. That flooring sets the tone for the style of the entry level, and makes decorating easy; white trim is the perfect accent. This large living area has plenty of space for your favorite living room suite. The granite breakfast bar adds extra seating if you have a party, or the perfect space to grab a bowl of Cheerios.
The kitchen is spacious and functional. The breakfast bar is just tall enough to hide the sink, so if you have dirty dishes, your guests won’t know ;) Tons of counter and cabinet space will come in handy. This space also features an eat in space, stainless steel appliances, overhead microwave, and pantry.
Off the garage is the laundry/mud room. You may have to think of another excuse if you track dirt into the house, because the laundry/mud room is right off the garage. The large closet in this space, will definitely come in handy if you don’t feel like putting clothes right away. Just put a bunch of hangers, and you can hang up the clothes fresh out of the dryer! This space also has overhead cabinets as well as the door to the full basement.
The basement can easily be finished, if you would like to add a ManCave or Buckeye Room.
I am in love with the steps that take you to the 2nd level of the house. They remind you of piano keys! Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master suite features a large walk-in closet and its own private bathroom! Both bathrooms have gray toned, trendy ceramic tile.
The outdoor space will be a fun spot to entertain your friends. The fire pit will be just what the doctor ordered on those Ohio crisp fall evenings! This subdivision is close to shopping, freeways and parks!
