Why We Love It

1. Backyard. Go ahead and cancel your summer vacation today. The lucky buyer of this house will get to go on Staycation all summer long. How many people can say that their house is like their very own vacation home? This backyard can be your relaxing oasis as this space will transport you to a calm and serene place, with your feet in the water and Mother Nature surrounding you. You will be the envy of all of your friends with your in-ground swimming pool (complete with a diving board), fire pit, and even a detached garage that could be used as a pool house. How fun will that be in the summer? Summer will last longer for you because this pool is heated. This homeowner opens the pool in April and typically doesn’t close it until late September. After you get out of the pool, gather around the fire pit for marshmallows or head up to the deck for a perfect spot to relax in the evenings. This property sits on a double lot, but it surrounded by tons of sprawling land! Country living without country mowing! Best of both worlds!

2.  Family Room. This is an addition to the home. The Sellers had a vision of a large cozy family room that could hold everyone at once. They had the perfect summer space; now they wanted the perfect winter space. The cedar cathedral ceiling warms the feel of the room and the wood-burning fireplace warms the temperature. It is the perfect space to cozy up in front of with a cup of hot chocolate. This room also features lots of windows and tons of overhead lights.

3.  Garage/Pool House. There is a detached garage with a patio off the back overlooking the pool. This structure is in addition to the already attached 2 car garage so you have flexibility with it. This space can be used as a garage, storage, or convert it to a pool house!

What You Need To Know

Welcome to this custom built home that sits on a double lot and is surrounded by beautiful land. This home is the perfect space to put down roots and call home. The inside is large and the outside is amazing! I have a feeling whoever buys this house better brush up on their entertaining skills; with the in-ground pool, huge yard, spacious house, cozy family room, and finished basement... you can’t say you don’t have the space! The house is accented with brick and has a lovely front porch, perfect for a Cracker Barrel rocking chair!

Entry Level: This is a traditional floor plan with a couple surprises here and there, including REAL hardwood floors. All the living areas and rooms are very spacious. When you step inside, to the left is a large formal living room with crown molding. There is a half wall with pillars to transition to the original dining room which has a gorgeous tray ceiling. This space is large enough to have the extra leaf in the table and room left over for your hutch to display the heirloom china.

To the right of the dining room is the large kitchen that features solid wood cabinets and a built in pantry. Take a look inside... the drawers pull out! The stainless steel appliances are a newer addition to the kitchen. The breakfast bar in the kitchen will make a great place to do homework, have coffee, or sit for a bowl of cereal.

This space transitions into what used to  be the family room, but with the addition, this space was converted into a more casual dining area. The fireplace is what makes this space unique. You may find a better use for this space but it's a great place to sit with guests. It is always great to have options!

I talked about the family room at the beginning and I can just imagine everyone spreading out in the here after their belly’s are full and watching football or a movie.

Second Level: Upstairs you will find 4 large bedrooms and both full bathrooms. The Owner's Suite has high ceilings to add to the vastness of the room.  There is a half wall with a built in vanity in between the bedroom and the bathroom. If you are anything like me, sometimes you can be in a hurry in the mornings and don’t take the time to clean up your morning makeup, hair supplies, etc... so now you you don't have to see it because it is tucked away and you have drawers for storage! The master bath has a stand up shower and vanity. There is also a large walk-in closet.

Lower Level: Downstairs you will find even more finished space. The pool table can stay with the home giving you rainy day options during your staycations. On the other side of the basement, is where the laundry and utility areas are located.

You should also know that the HVAC and the roof are newer. It is never fun spending money on either of those things, so now you can spend that money on decorating your new home!
