Why We Love It
1. Affordable Creekside. Over the past year, the average sales price for this wonderful neighborhood is above $290,000. The last two homes we listed in this neighborhood were well over $300,000. This amazing home is listed substantially below that mark and is going to be a huge value for the next lucky owner.
2. Condition. Another reason the price is so appealing is the fact that it's in great condition; this is a 1-owner home that's been well cared for. Just this year, the home received new stainless steel appliances, new carpet in some of the rooms, new hot water tank, new garage door, new window seals, a fresh coat of paint, and the furnace and air conditioner were both serviced. Over the past few years, other updates have included a deck, light fixtures, carpet squares in the basement, and a sump pump with battery back-up. You can move right into this home.
3. Great Room. The largest room in this home is the great room. It gives you nearly 300 sq.ft. of space for your daily living and lounging and it's open to the eat-in kitchen as well. This room is bumped-out further than the rest of the back of the home and that extra space makes all the difference when trying to arrange multiple pieces of furniture or a large sectional around a 60" TV. The great room also is where you access the backyard and the large 2-tier deck.
What You Need To Know
Creekside is a preferred neighborhood for many of today's Buyers... and for good reason. Located just steps from Pinnacle Golf Club and most of Grove City's newer dining and shopping options, this neighborhood is full of well kept homes that average close to $300,000. The only complaints we usually here from Buyers is that there aren't enough homes available here for under the $250,000 mark. That changes today.
The well manicured exterior of this home is a reflection of what you can expect inside as well. We went over the recent updates above but wanted to point out again that this home is in excellent condition.
First Floor: Entering the home, you are greeted by the hardwood floors of the foyer with the formal dining room to your left and the utility side of the home to your right.
Like the rest of the home, the dining room just received a fresh coat of paint as well as brand new carpet (carpet was also installed in some of the bedrooms and hallways as well). If you continue through this space, you find it open to the kitchen.
Your kitchen sparkles with new stainless steel appliances and it's well lit thanks to the addition of can lights in the ceiling. There is a large pantry/cabinet next to the eat-in space, and the island has enough room for a couple of bar stools. If you like a nice, organized work space in your kitchen, you're going to love all of the pull-out shelving in the base cabinetry.
Because the door to the backyard is located around the corner in the great room, you have plenty of space for your "daily table" in the kitchen. There is a window in the space providing a view to the backyard but you don't have to worry about blocking the door.
We spoke of the great room in more detail above but should mention that you can really appreciate the size and openness of the room when you're standing in it. This is where you'll spend the most of your time so it's nice to know you'll have a little elbow room while you relax.
The utility side of the home is where you find the half bathroom, first floor laundry, and garage access.
Second Floor: Upstairs is where you find your owner's suite. This large bedroom has vaulted ceilings, an upgraded ceiling fan, and spotlights to highlight your amazing decorating skills on the room's architectural ledge. Your private bathroom has a wide vanity, updated lighting, and just wait until you see all the bells and whistles of the custom closet.
Three other bedrooms are also located up here as well as another full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have extra nooks carved into them that subtly create extra space.
Basement: The carpet squares installed in this basement allow you to utilize the level for workout equipment or as a play area that doesn't require you to worry about dings and dents.
Storage shouldn't be a problem even if you decided to use this space for a living area because you still have the entire "capped" crawl space to organize all your things.
Backyard: There is a large deck overlooking the backyard and it was just repainted this year. You can extend your living space outside when weather permits because you'll have enough room for the grill, patio table, and a lounging area as well.
The yard is big enough to let pets or little ones to stretch their legs while you relax on the deck.
