Why We Love It
1. The Basement. Unfortunately all of that beautiful Buckeye memorabilia will be going with our Sellers (and if not... we call first dibs). Fortunately you can start your own collection down there. This basement is the perfect place for your rowdy friends on game days or for some rowdy teenagers when the Xbox comes out. Professionally finished just 3 years ago, the basement bumps the square footage of living space in this home up to approximately 2,219. There is even a battery back up on the sump pump to help protect your investment if the power goes out.
2. The Patio. Take dinner outside all summer long because you have a huge Sunsetter awning to to keep you in the shade. This stamped concrete patio has a brick retaining wall that can serve as overflow seating when you invite the whole gang over for a cookout. Tell them they can bring their pets too because the yard is already fenced in.
3. The Upstairs. What are you to do when someone is watching TV in the great room, someone is playing video games in the basement, and someone else is ruining the peace and quiet of the patio as they mow the lawn? Head upstairs to your loft or huge master suite, of course. This additional living space gives you the flexibility of having another media area, play room, or open office space. Your owner's suite is so large that you can add a chaise ("chaaaaiiissseee....") lounge chair to create your own private reading nook.
What You Need To Know
Built by Centex Homes in 2005, this one owner home has been well maintained and has a list of expensive upgrades: concrete drive, newer roof, finished basement, stamped concrete patio, retractable awning, vinyl fence, Culligan filtration system, deduct meter, closet system in the owner's suite, etc.
First Floor: Stepping into the home, you have a powder room to the right, den to the left, and great room straight ahead. The den has a set of double doors to help keep the noise out and the clutter that usually accompanies an office in.
The great room is large enough for a sectional or a traditional couch - love seat - recliner set up. An expanse of three windows on the back wall keeps the room well lit and the ceiling fan keeps it cool.
The great room opens to the eat-in kitchen. As you can see, there is enough room for a full dining room table here and you still have plenty of room to move. The functional half of the kitchen is centered around a large island and should provide plenty of space for food prep or display.
Second Floor: The top of the stairs brings you to two guest bedrooms and their bathroom to the right or the loft, laundry room, and owner's suite to the left. The loft is large and can serve a great number of different purposes. Just add a chair and a TV and it's a great place to fold all of the laundry that you didn't have to carry up and down the stairs.
Your owner's suite is massive. Get the California King sized bed. Create your own sitting area. Set up your treadmill or yoga mat. You have the space. See how organized your new closet is? That's what happens when spend the time and money to add an organizational system.
Basement: The finished basement is sure to get a ton of use.You can send all of the toys down there... or keep all of the toys out of there. Their space or your space... your choice. There is already a battery back up installed on the sump pump as well.
Exterior: The brick and concrete of the front carries to the back with the patio and retaining wall. Kick your feet up under the shade of your awning while Rover gets his exercise in.
