Why We Love It
1. Price. If you've been looking for a house for under $150,000 in Grove City, we don't have to tell you how hard it is to find something like this. I just checked before writing this and I found 5 listings that are Active... but 32 that are In Contract. That's tough sledding when we know how many buyers there are for this range. The good news is that we get to make one of you happy today because this is an amazing home for this price range. Many times when looking in this range, you find that there is a laundry list of items you'll need to do before moving in... not here. This home all ready for your furniture to move in.
2. Modern Feel. The modern color palette begins outside with the grey siding with white trim, and continues as you walk through the home. Mostly shades of grey with white trim inside, you find some modern pops of color with purple, yellow, and blue in different rooms as well. Mix in some chrome light fixtures with your open concept floor plan and you wouldn't even know the home was built in the early 90's. If you're really nice to us, we may even be able to talk about that super modern floor to ceiling free standing closet in one of the spare bedrooms.
3. Location. It's always nice to have the convenience of a neighborhood out your front door but the quiet of an open field out the back. Located in the back of Grove City's Tanglebrook neighborhood, that's what we have here. You can sit on your deck with an open view behind you or walk up the street to play at the park in the front of the neighborhood. Tanglebrook is one of those neighborhoods that even some lifelong Grove City residents don't know about because it's nicely tucked away behind the intersection of Grove City Road and Demorest Road. This great location puts you just a hop, skip, and jump away from hanging out in the still growing Town Center. More importantly, it means you can grab your Zamarelli's Pizza even quicker.
What You Need To Know
A clean, beautiful home listed for just $139,900 in Grove City is pretty much all you need to know. Get here to see this home yesterday.
We'll still tell you a little more about it though :-)
Exterior: The crisp look of the dark grey siding and the white trim give the home a very clean feel. The two car garage is nice for this price point and the mature landscaping is fairly low maintenance. The backyard is large enough to have company over and it's already fenced in so your dogs can run wild. The home backs up to a field to give you more of a private setting.
Main Level: Like all bi-level homes, you step through the front door and are presented an option to go up to the main level or down to the lower level. Unlike most bi-level homes, you can stop and appreciate this space because our Seller has taken a typical "blow-by" landing and transformed it into a very nice little foyer.
Up on the main level, you find an open space made up of your living room, dining area, and kitchen.
You can set this living room up with your comfy-couch and TV or send those down to the lower level and create more of a sitting area up here. We've seen it both ways... and with a room this size, you can't go wrong either way.
The living room is open to your dining area which adds more seating options to your space. An updated modern light hangs over your table.
The kitchen isn't the largest of spaces but the open wall configuration definitely helps it feel a little larger when you're cooking. It's an efficient layout and the counter space next to the refrigerator comes in handy for meal prep. Nice laminate floors add a great look and make it easier to clean up those inevitable spills.
At the end of a hallway that has two closets to help with storage, you find all three bedrooms. The one to the right is the largest and is the one you'll likely choose to be your master bedroom.
Need a little more closet space? Take note of the IKEA storage we mentioned earlier.
The modern vibe continues in the full bathroom located off this hallway as well. I'd like to take just a moment to applaud our Mr. Seller here... that white, grey, and yellow chevron pattern on the wall took more time than you think. 👏👏👏
Lower Level: Head down the switch back staircase to your lower level and let's take a look at your flexible living space. Currently set up as an office space, you can also use this level for a rec room, playroom, or a family room. Because bi-level homes aren't located completely below grade, you still get a good amount of natural light from the three windows.
A half bath is located down here saving you a trip up the stairs just because nature calls.
Also on this level is your laundry room and some more storage space.
