Home on Acreage | Sold

Why We Love It

1. The Land. This fabulous home comes with two breathtaking parcels of land that combine for 12.49 acres. The largest parcel is about 11 acres which includes some land around the home that has been cleared as well as wooded acreage that goes on and on and even has walking paths. The second parcel is a little over 1 acre, wooded, and is located on the other side of the creek (yes, Deer Creek runs across the property). Words aren't enough for this property... you need to walk it to capture the true beauty.

2. The Space. When you're done admiring the space Mother Nature created for you, come inside and take a look at this custom floor plan. There are two stories of living plus a finished basement that adds over 800 sq ft as well. Two rooms in the finished basement can be extra bedrooms complete with closets or storage rooms; there is also second set of stairs leading up to the garage. Speaking of the garage, use the electric pulley to lower the steps down and walk up to another room that adds just under 400 sq. ft. of extra living space. This room is the perfect place to rock out on your drum set and keyboard, or maybe a sewing/painting room for the arts and crafts enthusiast.

3. The Pole Barn. Not only do you get an attached, two car, heated garage with an extra high overhead door... but there is also a pole barn that the owner says can fit about nine cars in if needed. Needless to say, this is a big space with a lot of potential. Within close proximity to the home, but still hidden and tucked away, it’s easy to access but not easily seen.

What You Need To Know

Pull up to this gorgeous custom built home from the dedicated gravel street and turn left onto the property driveway. A gravel drive also circles all the way around the home for easy access to the pole barn. An extra large concrete drive is attached to the side of the home and leads into the garage.

This garage in itself is amazing. With heat and an electric pulley that lowers the steps down to a private room above - there are so many options for this space.

First Floor: As you enter through the front door, you are greeted by gleaming hardwood floors.

To the right is the large living room with a cozy gas fireplace. It's a great place to sit and relax or watch a little TV.

Past this room is the formal dining room and adjacent to it is the kitchen.

The 42" cabinets and extra counter space are great for storage and food prep, while the stand alone range and second built-in oven make it a cooks dream. The refrigerator has a reverse osmosis filter for clean water.

Enjoy dinner in the eat-in space that has beautiful views through the French doors to the backyard. There is an entrance to the kitchen from the garage and also from a side door that leads to a mud room area to kick your shoes before entering the kitchen.

Back towards the front of the home, you pass a powder room with pedestal sink on your way to the den/office or extra living space.

Second Floor: Walk up the winding staircase - with wrought iron balusters - and arrive at the second level.

The laundry room is enclosed with pocket doors and conveniently located on this floor.

Two guest bedrooms are connected with a Jack and Jill bath, and both have adequate closet space.

From your charming owner's suite, walk through the huge closet (with room for a changing area and built-ins) and into the amazing bathroom. This private bath has dual pedestal sinks, separate shower, water closet, and a huge soaking tub... perfect for relaxing bubble baths.

Basement: In the finished basement you will find 9' ceilings and two large rooms with separate closets or storage spaces. One room has ceramic tile flooring and the other has laminate.

Another room is not quite finished but has lots of potential to be any kind of extra room you would like. There’s an electric panel dedicated to the basement and walk up steps lead to the garage, so it could be like a private entrance if you prefer.

Outside: Let’s talk about the land again. You can gaze at the stars while sitting around the fire pit or take a hike through the woods. This lot seems to be endless with beautiful trees and wildlife until you reach Deer Creek. On the other side of the creek is the second parcel that goes with the home as well.

Closer to the home, the yard is well manicured and has an irrigation system to help keep the grass looking nice and green.

Updates to the home include new furnace and air conditioner in 2016, updated master bath in 2016, inspected well 2016, new water tank 2015.
