Alkire Village -- SOLD

SOLD | 3 Bed | 2 Bath | 1,335 SqFt

Why We Love It

1. Squeaky Clean.  This one owner home is impeccably clean! You truly will not be able to find a spec of dirt in this house. It looks the same now as it did when it was built! This is a perfect testament as to how she has maintained everything in the home, since the day it was built. That is “Buying Confidence” right there!

2. Landscaping. From the Weeping Cherry, Miniature Lilacs, raised brick beds, to the plush green grass, this yard is one you can be proud of. I am sure the current Seller will not mind if you take the credit for it!

3. Ranch Style.  Everything you need is on one floor. Have you ever sprained your ankle and tried to go up or down stairs?!? Let me tell you, it is terrible! You won’t have to worry about that here. Everything you need is on one floor.

What You Need To Know

Welcome to this wonderful ranch in Grove City (Columbus taxes)! The outside alone is enough to invite you in. This time of year is a really fun time to show off houses because everything is blooming and the grass is plush. Brick raised flower beds were professionally installed; a weeping cherry bloomed for us for us on picture day and it looks absolutely beautiful! There is also a miniature lilac bush to your right, what a heavenly scent when your guests walk up your driveway! The grand entryway was professionally done as well, by King Concrete.

As you enter the home you are greeted with beautiful hardwood floors in the entryway, neutral paint, and an open floor plan. The Great Room may be my favorite room in the house. The ceilings peek in the middle to elongate the room. This is a cozy, yet large space that can give everyone a comfortable place to feel at home. The large room allows for many different options for furniture and tv. If you like to entertain, this house is perfect because all of the living areas flow nicely into each other. The eat in kitchen is in direct eyesight to the Great Room and it is centered around one of those really cool light fixtures you see in all of these new antique shops popping up everywhere and the space looks over the backyard. This space and the kitchen are defined by the Brazilian Koa Hardwood floors. I love the diagonal way they were laid! In the kitchen, there is plenty of cabinet and counter space. This is something that you do not miss until you don’t have it any longer! Remember how I said that the eat in area is in direct eyesight of the living area, well the kitchen sink is not! So, leave the dishes and get back to your guests! A large pantry, the laundry area, and entrance to the two car garage are here as well! The master bedroom is tucked into the back corner of the house. It is spacious and has large window with a nice view of the backyard. The walkin closet is large enough to keep your summer and winter clothes together, the Elfa Closet System is adjustable to suit your needs and makes organization a breeze! The master bath has a large stand up shower. Also on this floor, when you walk in, immediately to your left is two of the bedrooms and the full bathroom that all of your visitors will use. They are conveniently tucked away from the rest of the house.

The sliding glass doors lead you to this amazing backyard. This owner chose one of the largest lots in the community, and there is nobody directly behind you. The deck off the sliding glass doors is elevated and has plenty of space for chairs and a grill. There is a gas line installed if you want to get a new gas grill for Father’s Day! The deck leads you to the stamped concrete patio; this space is a little more private if you are wanting peace and quiet.

The basement adds another possible 1,000 square feet to the house, should you choose to finish it. There is tons of space that is situated really nicely to make a great finished basement. She will even leave the pool table!!!

This house has been maintained really well. The HVAC has been serviced seasonally through American Air, the whole house, deck and patios have been freshly power washed, newer screen doors, gutters have been cleaned and adjusted, newer garbage disposal, and the the house is wired for an alarm system. This home is waiting on new owners! I don’t think it will last very long!
