Why We Love It

1. Umm… It's Awesome. We were kind of in awe the first time we stepped into this home. Everyone wants a home that's has something different and unique about it and this home has unique on steroids. Things like hardwood floors, kitchens updated with slate, exposed brick, beamed ceilings in the finished basement, etc. This home has something cool everywhere you look

2. The Kitchen. This isn't a kitchen you typically find in this price range. The modern feel begins with the white cabinets that include a couple doors with glass fronts. The slate doesn't just cover the floor… it continues up the walls too. And that back splash? Custom with a capital C. Toss in few stainless steel appliances, a separate peninsula, and open it up to the living and dining areas… and you have a kitchen all your friends will admire.

3. The Lower Level. The stairs to the lower level are open to the kitchen and are located along a wall of exposed brick, large windows, and a sliding glass door. It opens to another living space with features like tile floors, upgraded trim, and a really cool ceiling. A second full bathroom is located down here and the back 2 bedrooms were opened up to become one large space. It would make for a great master suite, office, or man cave. Thanks to the large egress windows, you don't feel closed in and dark like you do in most basements.

What You Need To Know

This raised ranch located in the heart of Grove City has updates left and right and has such a modern feel that you tend to forget it was built in 1963.

First Floor: Stepping inside from your updated front porch, you enter the main living room. The space has canned lights, hardwood floors, and updated trim. You can hang the big TV is this room or just use it for more of a sitting area.

It opens right into the dining room and kitchen and all 3 spaces are well lit thanks to the ceiling lights (updated) and the large windows (updated).

Hardwood floors are carried into your dining room but give way when you reach this cool slate kitchen. Slate floors, slate walls, and a custom slate back splash. The subtle colors of the slate look great in contrast to the bright white cabinets. Chances are you won't find another kitchen this nice anywhere close to this price range.

Around the corner you find two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Hardwood floors carry you into the sleeping areas but the bathroom was updated with a very nice tile floor and new tub surround.

Lower Level: The large windows, sliding glass door, and painted brick wall of the back of the home really stand out and it carries you down to the lower level. Waiting at the bottom of the steps is another living area that's been updated with tile floors, more upgraded trim, and that awesome ceiling.

The bedroom down here is very large - because the owner removed a wall to double its size - and it has its own full bathroom.

Located off the hallway between that bedroom and the living area is the laundry room.

Large egress windows on this level let in so much natural light that you'll forget you're not on the first floor.

Exterior: The home has a one car garage but it's not your typical one car garage. It has vaulted ceilings for overhead storage and it's extremely deep. There used to be an additional room in the back of it and the wall was removed to open it up.

The backyard has a small patio for your grill and table… but if you're feeling ambitious, you can install your own larger patio to help you enjoy the large, fenced-in back yard. Put in a long weekend with a few friends and you can sit under your canopy of mature trees all summer long.
