Why We Love It
1. Price. The vast majority of the homes we have listed in Grove City between $140,000 - $170,000 have flown off the market and created quite the buzz with among buyers. This seems to be a real sweet spot in the area and here is another home that fits that same box. Great price, great neighborhood, great finishes; run... don’t walk to see this one!
2. Style. One of the best things about my job is seeing so many different tastes and styles and noting how little differences can work with one another. I am very grateful for all of the design shows, blogs, and magazines that give us so much inspiration. The style in this home is very very cool; sleek and stylish bathrooms, great paint colors (and wallpaper), and contemporary flooring make for an easy backdrop for many different flavors of decorating.
3. Fun Floor Plan. This isn’t your traditional split level home... it is broken up differently and creates the perfect place to spread out, but stay united. With the living room on the first floor, and kitchen and dining on the second floor, create a perfect space to entertain because the rooms are still partially open to one another.
What You Need To Know
Entry Level: When you walk in you are greeted by a sleek color of grey. If you have never shopped for grey paint before, then you cannot feel my pain of picking out the perfect tone. Seriously... I can see where they got the title “Fifty Shades of Grey” because I am sure that title hit them as they were standing in the paint swatch aisle at Home Depot. I said all of that to say this... these Sellers nailed it! The color looks amazing in this space and the laminate flooring could not be more a more perfect companion.
As I said above, this floor plan is unique. Stepping in, the entryway has enough room to kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. You can see the dining room to your left, but it is up on the second level.
The entrance from the garage and half bath is to your right... and once again they were on point coordinating the flooring and wall of wallpaper. Yes, I said wallpaper. It is back in style!
The door to your left leads to the basement.
Keep going and you will end up in the living room. It is a great space that is large, has a sliding glass door to the patio, and a gas fireplace the anchors the room.
Second Level: Up a few steps, you find the kitchen to your right and the dining room to your left.
This large dining room has a ceiling fan and cathedral ceilings. I have a feeling you will like the burnt orange paint they choose.
The kitchen is on the other side with plenty of space to test your favorite Rachael Ray recipes and a great view of the backyard. Like the level below, this level also has a sliding glass door to the back, but this time you walk out on a raised deck instead of the concrete patio.
Third Level: Up a few more steps is where all three of the bedrooms reside.
On the left is your owners suite that features cathedral ceilings and a plant ledge to heighten the space while adding a decorative touch. Your private bathroom has been updated with beautiful flooring and a modern/rustic vanity and matching mirror. The walk-in closet has plenty of space to share.
The other two bedrooms look like they came right out of a children’s decorating magazine! I am sure I can find out where they got their decor, if you want to try to recreate it yourself.
Updated flooring and paint give the other full bathroom on this level quite the facelift as well.
Exterior: The front of the home has been neatly landscaped and also has a front porch.
The backyard is fantastic! The raised deck walks down to the concrete patio for multiple sitting areas and the yard has a privacy fenced around the perimeter. It's the perfect size.
This is a popular location and I can see why... it is minutes away from conveniences like shopping, schools, freeways etc. I have a feeling this one won’t last long!
