Of Note: 2018

As we looked back at the sellers we helped in 2018, we realized how lucky we were that so many great homes came our way.

A number of our clients broke records, many received multiple offers, and others produced some pretty memorable stories.

These are a just a few...

Cape Charm

A little charm goes a long way because the sellers of this Cape Cod-style home had 11 offers to choose from.

When it was all said and done, the home sold for $225,000 becoming just the second home in this little pocket neighborhood to sell for more than $200,000.

By the way, we sold the other one too ;)

A Hidden Retreat

A unique home located on 5 scenic acres, this one drew quite a bit of attention as it was viewed on our website more than 6,600 times over the course of 7 days.

That was a big reason why it ended up selling for $112,500 more than the sellers bought it for.

Plank's on the Pond

A large, 5-level split with a great lot location, this home set a record for the highest sales price in the history of Creekside.

Our favorite feature of this home was the finished 5th level where the sellers created their own version of Plank's!

Just Made-Over

What was the final result of our sellers' renovation of this Hilliard-area home?

The highest SalesPrice/SquareFoot in the history of Chesapeake Farms, that's what.

Hidden Gem

This Lewis Center home showed off its unique features while setting the bar for the highest SalesPrice/SquareFoot in the history of Hidden Cove.

But when our sellers bought a BEAUTIFUL, bigger, more expensive home... their friends couldn't understand why they were moving after comparing the two homes online.

You better believe that was music to our marketing ears. 👂️🎶💕

The Beulah Bungalow

All 700 square feet of this great little home in the Beulah subdivision was owned by the same family for 70 years.

It saw Beulah Park in its heyday. Then saw Beulah Park get torn down. And now the new owners will see the highly anticipated Beulah redevelopment.

At the end of the day, the sellers were thrilled to sell the home for an amazing $185/sqft (2nd highest ever).

Time to Relax

Obviously, many transactions have a few obstacles to overcome, but these sellers were really put to the test.

In spite of seeing three different purchase contracts fall apart for different reasons, they stayed the course... and were rewarded for it.

This was the highest sales price for a two-bedroom condo in the history of the community.

The Triple Threat Condo

Speaking of condo records, this Pine Manor unit broke the record for the highest sales price in the community by $11,000!

The Showstopper

You might remember this ranch because it was another one that was viewed more than 5,000 times on our website alone.

These sellers made some jaw-dropping changes to the home and were able to sell for $125,000 more than they paid for it just 3 years before.

A Gathering Ranch

How popular was this home? Popular enough that the sellers received a curb offer for more than $400,000 during the Coming Soon campaign... and then received a backup offer as well!

Split Personalities

Here's another record for Hoover Park/Holton Run (it's not the first record we've set in the neighborhood). This home had the highest SalesPrice/SquareFoot for any 5-level split in the history of the community.

[note: one other home recorded a higher percentage but the square footage was later updated with the auditor to show an additional 731 sqft that was not calculated]

Spick and Span

This was the second time we helped these clients sell a home.

The first time, their home sold to a buyer that wrote a full price offer based solely upon the online marketing (they never saw it in person). This time, their Lancaster condo broke the community record for the highest sales price.

Needless to say, we're ready for Round 3.

Black Door Bi-Level

The Holly Hill neighborhood has been around for nearly 60 years... but no bi-level in the long-standing community has ever sold for more than this one.
